Our School's Young Teacher Selected for Anhui Provincial Association for Science and Technology's Young Scientific Talent Support Program

Recently, the Anhui Provincial Association for Science and Technology (Anhui Provincial AST) announced the list of recipients for the 2024-2027 "Anhui Provincial AST Young Scientific Talent Support Program." Associate Professor Bu Chenyang from the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering has successfully been selected.

The Anhui Provincial AST Young Scientific Talent Support Program leverages the expertise and resources of academic societies and specialists to fully support the growth of young scientific talents. The program is highly competitive, with strict selection criteria. It is organized by provincial academic societies, with each society allowed to recommend only two candidates. After expert review, a decision meeting, and public announcement, 30 outstanding young scientific workers were selected and granted funding to achieve remarkable accomplishments during their innovation golden period.

Bu Chenyang is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering at Hefei University of Technology. He is the Vice Chairman of the Big Data Special Committee of the Anhui Artificial Intelligence Society, the Chair of IEEE ICKG Web (2021-2023), and serves as a program committee member for several international conferences such as AAAI and MM. He is also a reviewer for numerous prestigious domestic and international journals. In 2024, Bu Chenyang was selected for the Anhui Provincial AST Young Scientific Talent Program and has received the Huawei Smart Foundation Award and the ICKG 2021 Service Award. His students' papers won the ICKG Best Paper Award in both 2020 and 2022. As a project leader, he has undertaken several research projects, including a National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundations first-tier funding, and multiple knowledge graph construction collaboration projects.
